Hi Neil, I read your article on Soy, do you know anything about tempeh?

Hi Peter,
Personally, I won’t go near any soy product. The fermentation process that is used for tempeh makes it better than straight up soy (it decreases the phytic acid content), but I still wouldn’t recommend it. All the protein is soy based — meaning it’s inferior. It’s a gram of carbs for each two grams of protein. And much of the fatty acids are Omega 6.
